Your Broker cannot share information with the Issuer, that means us, without your express permission. Your information is included on a NOBO list (NOBO = Non-Objecting Beneficial Owners). This is the only information that we, as an Issuer, can obtain. Usually name, address and number of shares.
VERY RARELY DOES THIS INCLUDE AN EMAIL ADDRESS.
That is why we want to collect your email address so we can build a better database. We will not share this information with other people. We will provide Company updates as well as occasionally ask for specific input.
FYI: The TRANSFER AGENT does not have this information, they keep detail records for certificate holders only, as well as the overall share structure.
